Never have I ever in the 15,768,000 minutes of my existence felt anchored to another person as I do to you. Almost as if the gods extended a loose string of your being, and cruelly knotted it to my becoming. You smile, I sing. You mourn, I wither. You breathe, I live. And yet, despite a connection so profound, I am relieved by your lack of presence in my life.

You have unraveled me since before you knew I existed. Imagine what would become of me if you were mine?
